OnniBus — luggage What can I bringon the bus? Check the luggage included in your ticket and the transport instructions for strollers, bicycles, pets and other items before your journey. 1 piece of hand luggage 1 suitcase Additional items must be booked separately The transport conditions on OnniBus single-decker and double-decker buses differ, particularly when travelling with bicycles or pets. You can identify the service in the journey search by its route number, bus company icon and service icons. Search journeys and book → Included in an OnniBus ticket One piece of hand luggage and one suitcase Space for these items is guaranteed for each ticket purchased for an OnniBus-operated service. In the passenger cabin 1 piece of hand luggage Hand luggage must fit under the seat in front of you or in the overhead rack. Luggage may not be stored in the aisle or other passenger walkways. In the luggage compartment 1 suitcase Maximum 20 kg Maximum total dimensions 158 cm Total dimensions means the combined length, width and height of the suitcase. Also included without an additional charge Foldable stroller or pushchair Small foldable strollers and pushchairs are carried in the bus luggage compartment without an additional charge. OR One pair of skis or one snowboard You may bring one pair of skis or one snowboard in addition to your suitcase. The equipment must be packed appropriately. Travelling with more luggage? Space is guaranteed for one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per ticket. If you are carrying more, add extra luggage to your booking. Space for additional luggage cannot otherwise be guaranteed. Other items you can bring These items may have separate packing, space or service-specific conditions. Additional service Bicycle A bicycle can be carried for an additional charge on selected OnniBus single-decker services. Add a bicycle space to your basket when purchasing the ticket. Arrive at the stop at least 15 minutes before departure. As luggage Foldable bicycle A foldable bicycle can be carried as normal luggage when packed in a suitable transport bag and within the normal luggage limits. As luggage Electric scooter or electric skateboard The device may weigh no more than 20 kg. The battery must be firmly attached, the power completely switched off and an electric scooter must be foldable. We recommend using a protective bag. Packed appropriately Other sports equipment Sports equipment must be packed in a bag or case intended for transport. Carriage depends on the available space in the bus luggage compartment. Separate seat if required Musical instrument If a musical instrument requires its own seat in the passenger cabin, a separate ticket must be purchased for the instrument. Pets on the bus Pet transport depends on the type of bus. Check the services available on your selected journey before purchasing the ticket. Single-decker buses Small pets are welcome Small lap dogs and other pets small enough to be held on the passenger’s lap can travel on selected OnniBus single-decker services. €5 when booking €10 from the driver The pet must travel on the floor or on the passenger’s lap. Pets may not be left loose in the bus or placed on a seat. Double-decker buses No ordinary pets Ordinary pets are not carried on OnniBus double-decker buses. Official guide and assistance dogs are always carried free of charge. Space for additional luggage cannot otherwise be guaranteed. Can I bring a standard bicycle on a double-decker bus? + Standard bicycles are not carried on OnniBus double-decker buses. A foldable bicycle can be carried as normal luggage when packed in a suitable transport bag. Does an electric scooter count as luggage included in the ticket? + Yes. An electric scooter or electric skateboard packed according to the instructions counts towards the luggage allowance included in the ticket. Can a pet travel on a bus seat? + No. The pet must travel on the bus floor or on the passenger’s lap. It may not be left loose or placed on a seat. Can the driver refuse to carry an item? + The driver may refuse an item if it has not been packed appropriately or if it could damage other luggage, the bus or passengers. Ready to travel?
